- Don’t lift too heavy at the gym. What’s the point? You’ll just get injured. Getting fit is about being healthy, that’s all.
- Always use a proper warm-up when lifting weights.
- Go on daily walks, even if they’re just half an hour.
- Go out and do something interesting or adventurous. If you don’t make the most of your time off when you’re young and feeling your best, when will you?
- Sleep 8 hours every night.
- Don’t criticise anyone, we all have things we can work on. Set your house in order thoroughly before you criticise the world.
- Pursue what you were put on this earth to do every day, even for half an hour.
- Slow progress is the best progress.
- Write every day (at least 300 words).
- Read every day ( at least for 30 minutes).
- Relax at least one day per week.
- If you’re overthinking, write.
- It’s not what other people think about you that matters; it’s what you think about yourself.
- You’re where you are today because of the choices you made yesterday. Your choices dictate your life. Want a better life? Make better choices.
- Make the most out of today, the future is not guaranteed.
- “Wisdom is not wisdom when it’s derived from books alone “ – Horace
- No one’s going to save you; you need to save yourself.
- Every action you take is a vote for the type of person you want to become. Make sure those votes are helping you become your idealised self.
- Make sure your writing is brief and concise. “It is when I struggle to be brief that I become obscure” – Horace
- Always look to increase your erudition. To be a scholar is one of the many worthwhile goals in life.
