Here are the shoes I use. Adidas dropset 3 training shoes hybrid/ cross trainer.

If you are somewhat like me then you may have specific shoes for squatting ( I used to use powerlifting shoes), deadlifting ( I used to use vans due to the flat sole and solid base) and I used to use my vans shoes for my push day workout where I would bench press and military press ( again they have a flat sole and solid base).
Anyways, my friend, I’ve found the solution to not having to wear different shoes on different days.
The answer is the cross trainer.
They’re incredibly comfortable and have a solid base ( not a bouncy one, which you get with running shoes).
When lifting heavy weights, you should avoid wearing running shoes because they can cause you to push off from an unstable base.
Think of it as squatting on pillows.
When lifting with running shoes, the bouncy base you are standing on is uneven and shifts constantly, negatively impacting your ability to squat and lift properly.
So, I chose the cross trainer and recommend it to you as well.
It’s so liberating to wear one pair of shoes for all my lifting days.
I recommend only buying these cross trainers for lifting; they should last a long time.
Don’t hike up mountains in them; that’s not what they’re for.
I limit my cross-trainer activity to walking and weightlifting, and I recommend you do the same.
The Bottom Line
Cross trainers are a hybrid type of trainer; they allow you to weightlift, run, and pursue other activities. They’re pretty much an all-purpose trainer for most fitness enthusiasts. Cross trainers are the only shoes I now use for weightlifting, whereas in the past, I would have to switch my shoes between Vans and Adidas Adipower powerlifting shoes. Cross trainers are ideal for a fitness enthusiast like me. Powerlifting shoes may be your best bet if you’re into powerlifting. Make sure, though, that when you’re lifting weights, you’re at least using trainers with a flat sole and solid base because lifting heavy weights requires your body to be stable. And suppose you use trainers with a bouncy base. In that case, you are more likely to get injured due to your form being subpar and not pushing off a stable base. ultimately lifting with shoes that have a solid base, keep you balanced, and provide balance and stability, which are required for lifting heavy weights.
