The Bible mentions forgiveness and to love your enemies.

This doesn’t mean that you don’t want justice.

All it means is that you free yourself from the heavy emotional burden of harbouring hatred and resentment towards another person and thus break the perpetual cycle of doing wrong because you’ve been wronged.

But if that person feels the full force of the law for the wrongs they’ve committed, then justice shall be served.

But to hold onto resentment and hatred towards anyone is a stain on the soul and should be avoided at all costs if you want to maintain peace of mind and spirit.
