What can I offer the world?

Instead of asking “what can the world offer me? “Ask, “What can I offer the world?”.

It’s easy to fall into the trap of thinking the world owes us something.

However, the fact is that the world owes us nothing.

It is our role to be the alchemists of our lives, transforming them into something beautiful, always with God in mind, to serve Him and others.

Here are some practical tips on how we can better serve the world and others.

Text or call a friend you haven’t spoken to in a while to ask how they are.

Write a blog post every day, regardless of it’s length; it doesn’t matter whether it’s 100 words or 1,000 words. All that matters is you write something with the other person in mind.

Volunteer at a food bank, your church or whatever you think is best. I was once a volunteer police officer, and it was a rewarding experience because I made a difference.

The more we serve others, the more we veer from the selfish confines of our own minds.

And the happier we feel.
