I’ve thought for many years that human writing will always be more effective and engaging than writing done by AI.

Because AI writing has always come across very sterile to me and lacking soul (I suppose it would because AI is soulless).

Whereas a good writer writes like he speaks and his whole personality comes across in his writing.

For example I’ve got a receding hairline and it’s part of me, my character, personality and me as a whole.

Some would say this receding hairline is undesirable and maybe it is, but again it’s part of me and you should take me as a whole.

When someone writes authentically and doesn’t use AI, you get the raw unfiltered version of that person on the page.

Which results in the best writing to read.

Think about it, all the classics are classics because they were wholly done by humans not AI.

These humans were able to create something so original and timeless.

Think of the works from The Bible for instance.

So let this be a lesson.

If you write then start making sure you write how you speak.

And if you do, you’ll be writing properly.

Lastly, make sure you don’t over edit.

It kills your writing.

I’ll make a confession

I used to write without AI then I would use AI to help get rid of typos etc.

Now I’m transitioning to not use AI at all.

Every blog post you will see from me will now be AI free.

Hopefully my writing becomes more raw, authentic and engaging.

And if it doesn’t I don’t care, because I will be writing with honesty and integrity.
